Results – Pre-Conference Meet at Lenoir

Sorry for the delayed results – they didn’t email them out, and no one put them on NC Runners.  But a lot good things happened at a race where people outside the Top 7 got a chance to have their results really count.

The boys won pretty easily, with three of the top five spots.  The girls got second, despite not having any of our top nine runners (or our 11th runner, who would’ve made it almost a tie.)   Our goal should definitely be to have our ‘B’ teams beat everyone else at conference, and put more than seven runners on each of the all-conference teams.

No splits for this one, with only half the coaching staff there and only one race per gender so there weren’t extra athletes to help out.  A lot of people who had big PR’s at Wendy’s ran their second-best time ever, which is a good sign.
